1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Famitly (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the service
Famitly is a family organisation platform that provides a shared calendar, to-do lists, recipe collection, receipt manager and family hub, accessible via web and mobile applications.
3. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Famitly account. A family group must be created by a parent, guardian or other adult aged 18 or over, who invites the other members and is responsible for that family group's use of the Service.
If you are aged between 13 and 17, you may use Famitly only as a member of a family group that a parent or guardian has created and invited you to. That adult can remove your access at any time.
Famitly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts or knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by other members of your family group that you invite.
5. Acceptable use
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or impair the Service.
- You agree not to upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.
- You are responsible for the content (events, recipes, to-dos, receipts, etc.) that you and your family members add to the Service.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to Famitly. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you and your family.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Famitly available and reliable, hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend the Service for maintenance or updates from time to time.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Famitly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
